Sundays are the time when the church comes together for one purpose: Focusing on the Lord Jesus Christ and His magnificent love toward us.  We are strong believers in the apostle Paul's direction, "Let us not neglect meeting together as some have made a habit, but let us encourage the another, and all the more as we see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:25).  Sadly, people got into the habit of "watching church" on the internet.  Covid taught us much about our need for one another!.


We begin with Sunday School classes for all ages (including adults) from 9:45-10:45am.  

Our Worship Service begins at 11am.  Our music is both contemporary and standard.  The Bible tells us to speak to each other in "songs, hymns and spiritual songs."  So, we incorporate all of these into our worship.  Riverside Baptist Church's musicians are top-notch.  But, they are careful not to overwhelm the congregation with sound.  They strive to LEAD into worship.  They never showcase themselves.  Our worship leaders point the congregation to God, our Father, and His son, the Lord Jesus Christ.


Pastor Rick is currently preaching through the Book of Acts.  He preaches through the Bible one book at a time, verse by verse.  He's an outstanding and interesting communicator. He's able to engage well to all ages and is in touch with our society as it is.  

He is truly gifted in preaching and teaching.
